In the ancient town of Bozukkale (Loryma) there is/you will find a rectangular castle with its big city walls and its 9 temples. Bozzukale literally means “broken castle”, probably because an entire side of the building is missing. Due to its position and narrow access to the harbour, the city was also used by the Greek fleets as strategic point during the Peloponnesian naval battles. Dinner and overnight on board.

3nd day – DIRSEKBUKU – BOZBURUN - BENCIK

After anchoring a Dirsekbuku, hermitage in Bozburun, a small fishing village. An activity which has been making the area popular over time is sponge fishing. As for our trip, we’ll drop anchor in Dirsek Buku where we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy our meal and take a relaxing swim. Bencik bay is the last stop of our daily schedule, it lies in the narrowest part of the peninsula which separates the Gulf of Hisaronu from the Gulf of Gokova and is sited on Hisaronu side.In 550s BC the Cnidus people wanted to dig a tunnel in the narrowest land strip of the peninsula between the Hisaronu Gulf and the Gokova Gulf as a defence line against the Persians. This way they would make two peninsulas one island and the defence would be easier. Despite their diligence and efforts the city was eventually conquered by the Persians, though. Dinner and overnight stay in Bencikl bay. Dinner and overnight stay aboard.

4nd day – AKTUR - DACTA

After breakfast, navigation to the Bay of Aktur. Time available for relaxing and bathing. After lunch departure for Datca. In the 7th century BC the Dorians coming from the Aegean Sea settled in the town. The area is humidless with cool and oxygen-rich air. It turns out that the historian Strabo had a point about the climate of Datca: “God should send his beloved servants here to prolong their lives”. A legend tells of a bunch of Spanish pirates forcing some lepers to leave their ships while they were sailing along the Datca coastline. The lepers settled in the Sanliman bay and got cured by the pure waters of Datca. This peninsula can be visited either independently or with an organized tour. Dinner and overnight stay in Datca.

5nd day – SYMI

Off to Symi island in the early morning and arrival in Panormitis monastery sited in the southern part of the island. The monastery and the museum are open to visitors. After a swimming break we’ll anchor at the port. The neoclassical houses of the village are definitely worth visiting, just like its forests of pine and durmast oaks and the enchanting local bays.

6nd day – SYMI - RODI

We’ll set sail to the biggest of the Dodecanese islands: Rhodes. The island is a top holiday destination with its very well preserved medieval centre and a mild climate 300 days a year. It is considered as the cradle of a variety of cultures ranging from the Saint John’s knights up to the Ottomans and the Italians. Lyndos and Kamiros are other major landmarks on this island. Strolling through the city with its wall belt and tiny alleys is just a travel backwards in time. After dinner you can enjoy the island night life.
Dinner and overnight stay aboard.
